Hi friends!

My name is Madison. I was born and raised in upstate SC where living on a farm and riding horses everyday is just the norm.

Throughout my life, I have done a lot of self-discovery, finding out that I am not like the rest of my family. With both of my parents being star athletes and avid mountain lovers, I stuck out like a sore thumb as I have always been more drawn to the arts and the hustle and bustle of the city.

When I was nineteen, I moved out of my mom’s house – conveniently located next to an up and coming petting zoo – to the nearest city in a studio apartment. Since then, I have been making friends that fit my new lifestyle and exploring avenues of self expression that I have always been too hesitant to begin.

A doctrine that I live by is “art is everywhere.” I believe that everything has a story – and that in itself is art. The crack on the sidewalk, the tattoo that you regret, the way a leaf falls down to the ground – all of that is art and it is perfect. Poetic, even. Choosing to live life through this lens curates an environment where everything has a purpose and mistakes should exist as lessons that can later lead to amazing stories.

All things considered, I would like to use social media to display my life through art and, here, I will be documenting my process through navigating this journey and all of it’s ups and downs – no filter.
